Manufacturing and Laboratory Capabilities

Unichem has invested heavily in laboratory, storage, and production equipment to allow quick response to customer requests. We provide Just-In-Time service to many of our clients.

Dry Blending

Unichem’s elaborate dry blending system can mix any number of raw materials, including difficult powders such as those with low melt points. We can package in pails, boxes, bags, drums, super-sacks, or dispense directly into a bulk truck. Our total capacity for dry blending exceeds 1,000,000 lbs./week.

Mixing Vessels and Reactors

Unichem has a wide variety of liquid mixing and reaction vessels with capacities ranging from 50 to 6,500 gal. Mounted on load cells and supported by a dedicated piping system, this versatile arrangement allows us to provide quick, accurate service. We can deliver up to 2,000,000 lbs./week in tanker truck loads or packaged for you in small containers, drums, or totes.

Laboratories

Our development laboratories provide product development and technical services for textile, nonwoven, and other industrial markets. We are equipped to perform physical tests on treated fabrics and other substrates, including:

 

Storage

Unichem's many bulk storage tanks range from 2,500 to 12,000 gal. for liquids and up to 600,000 lbs. for dry chemicals. This allows stocking a wide variety of raw materials as well as finished chemicals for customers.
