FLAMEX 0969 is an aqueous dispersion of finely ground hexabromocyclododecane for use in anionic and/or nonionic latex based adhesives and coatings. FLAMEX 0969 is a durable flame retardant for polyester fabrics when applied prior to heat setting substrate. For other applications, the use of a compatible binder is recommended to improve durability.

STORAGE AND PACKAGING:
FLAMEX 0969 is supplied in bulk, totes and drums. The dispersion should be kept in the original containers or in stainless steel, aluminum plastic tanks. Steel tanks with a corrosion-proof lining can also be used.
The containers should be kept closed to prevent evaporation of water and formation of a skin on the surface. The product should not be exposed to frost or to temperatures exceeding 86°F. In these conditions, it can be kept for six months with no significant loss of its properties.
