THICKENER 450

THICKENER 450 is a high molecular weight acrylic thickener in emulsion form for ease of handling.  It provides increased viscosity for inks, adhesives, coatings, pigment dispersions and resin latex or solvent emulsion.  THICKENER 450 is an alkali-soluble product that must be neutralized to pH 8-9 for maximum efficiency.

APPLICATIONS:

THICKENER 450 can be added directly to many formulations to provide in-situ thickening.  Additional alkali may be added to obtain final system pH before the THICKENER 450 is added.  THICKENER 450 is recommended for applications where a short, buttery rheology is desired.
