THICKENER 451

THICKENER 451 is an alkali soluble emulsion polymer from which can be prepared thickeners by dilution and neutralization with an appropriate base such as ammonia or caustic.  THICKENER 451 may also be used “in-situ” by adding the emulsion to the material to be thickened followed by addition of the alkali.  For optimum results, the pH of the system should be adjusted to 8.0-9.0.
