UNIBOND AC 412 is an elastomeric acrylic binder for industrial nonwovens. It is specifically designed for bonding wet laid glass and/or polyester fiber mats used in roofing products such as built-up roofing, asphalt shingles and facer mats. UNIBOND AC 412 is also recommended for other industrial nonwovens such as filters, facer sheets, resilient flooring substrates and geotextile applications. A combination of superior hot tensile strength, excellent low foaming properties, and outstanding mechanical stability makes UNIBOND AC 412 ideal as a sole binder or a cobinder with urea formaldehyde resins for these applications.
